Veronica Castillo-Muñoz (History) and I are hosting a workshop on "Gender and Intimacy Across the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands" in the fall of 2016 and we welcome you to apply! Selected participants will have one-nights lodging near campus and will have the opportunity to submit their pieces to the Pacific Historical Review for a tentative special issue on "Gender and Intimacy." Our esteemed colleague, Alexandra Stern (Univ. of Michigan) will provide the keynote talk. Advanced graduate students are welcome to apply.
