Join us on February 1st, from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM, to honor the Luis Leal Award for Distinction in Chicano/Latino Literature to Professor Rubén Martínez, Professor of English and Fletcher Jones Chair at Loyola Marymount University. This honors his work "The Other Side: Notes from the New L.A., Mexico City, and Beyond."

Graduate Program Application Deadline Extended

As of November 29th, the deadline for submitting applications for the Chicana and Chicano Studies Ph.D. Program has been extended to December 15th, 2021. Applicants who intend to apply to our program should contact their letter of recommendation writers of the new deadline.
