Professor Micaela Díaz-Sánchez hosted an art exhibit showcasing the work of students on May 10, 2019. This Exhibit was held as part of the Chicana/o/x Studies 148: Chicana Art and Feminism course that Professor Díaz-Sánchez taught in Spring 2019. The art that was showcased was all created by students as part of the final project of the class where based on their understanding of the artists taught in the course such as Ester Hernandez, Celia Herrera Rodriguez, Alma Lopez, Mujeres Muralistas can be applied into the students' own lived experiences.
