The Educational Opportunity Program, in collaboration with the Chicanx/Latinx Cultural Resource Center, the Office of Student Life, V.O.C.E.R.O.S. and the Department of Chican@ Studies would like to invite you to celebrate the rich culture of the Latinx community at UC Santa Barbara. Please join us at Celebración de la Familia Saturday, November 3rd from 2-5pm.
Celebración de la familia is a positive, inclusive and welcoming family oriented program for Latinx students with bilingual services and information for parents and families. The event will consist of bilingual historical and cultural tours of UCSB (11am-12pm), family workshops (12-1pm), and a family luncheon. The family luncheon and celebración will be held from 2-5pm at the Hatlen Theatre and Courtyard, where we will share tasty food, children’s activities, and student performances. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet connect with students, families, and community members in a great celebración.
