Dear Chicana/o Studies Majors and Graduate Students,
Chicana/o Studies is collaborating again this year to host two events to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos 2018!
1. Altar Making Workshop
Wednesday 10/24
5pm-8pm
El Centro, Building 406
Chicana/o Studies majors are invited to create display items at the Altar Making Workshop. Items will be featured on the Chicana/o Studies altar at the Dia de Los Muertos event on 11/1. You are also invited to create items for the silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the UCSB DREAM Scholars Fund. Art supplies, pan dulce and café will be provided.
2. Dia de Los Muertos

SRB Forum
Everyone is welcome to attend the Dia de Los Muertos celebration on 11/1! Come eat food (!), view altars, learn about the celebration, check out the silent auction, and enjoy performances!
