Each quarter this year, the CHST Department will host its local version of ‘UCSB Reads’ with ‘CHST Reads.’ We will choose a different book each quarter and then near the middle of the term, host a discussion of it.

In Fall quarter 2018 we will discuss Professor Armbruster-Sandoval's new book, Starving for Justice: Hunger Strikes, Spectacular Speech, and the Struggle for Dignity.

The discussion is scheduled on:
Wednesday November 7, 2018
4:00pm-6:00pm
South Hall, Room 1623

We will have copies available for borrowing in the Department as well as on reserve at the library for your reading convenience. You can also find copies online.
