Dia de los Muertos Celebration

On Tuesday November 1st,  the Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies co-sponsored a Dia de los Muertos celebrationIn with the Educational Opportunity Program. The event consisted of face painting, crafting, mariachi and traditional Mexican food. In addition, the Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies contributed an altar of their own among others from different campus organizations and departments. Students considered this a very successful and enjoyable event because it really captured valued cultural traditions.
